ILWS Blog Hop

Apologies for the disruption of service - it involved painting chicken sheds and grumpy husbands so lets not go there!!!  But if you are here now I have been a busy bee with products new and old.  I ordered fromt he retiring list the Watercolour wonder crayons and always one for recycling they came with a lovely sturdy brown box - which I thought was a perfect size for a game - I like making useful things so I thought a game of bingo or lotto would be fun.

I used the papers from the new hostess section in the catalogue called Cheerful Treat and also some of the lovely new fabric from the Flirtatious range.  The stamp set  is Every Little bit and    is great for this sort of thing with lots of little images,  I used my Laminator to laminate the cards and the tokens for drawing out and then we use buttons to cover the spots when they are drawn.  there is a sheet in the lid with all the images on for the tokens to go on so winning cards can be checked.  The ribbon was Pretty in Pink Satin - which is always gorgeous.  I just sewed the little baggie by hand with a back stitch for strength.

Here's the link to the next blog which is Val.

What a fabulous idea for that stamp set. Although the sun is shining now, on rainy days a board game like that will be brilliant to keep kids entertained.
