Samples Time, Seeing spots and Year on Year

Well time for some more from my stash. I am off to London Tomorrow and a busy day generally so won't be around much.

Sample 1
Stamp Set Used is Seeing Spots
Papers are Cutie Pie
Cardstock is Always Artichoke, So Saffron and Whisper White
White grossgrain narrow ribbon.
Inks are Always Artichoke and Certainly Celery
Buttons

Straightforward two step stamping here - used a pale colour for the background stamp and then the darker Artichoke for the greeting and flower. The scallop punch and circle punch were used to create the main deco and the scallop was over stamped with a background stamp for texture as well.
Sample 2

Again Seeing Spots and also the large wheel stamp Stampin' Around Spot On. This was stamped in Certainly Celery and then overstamped with the flower in Always Artichoke.

Cardstock was Whisper White for the card base and Always Artichoke and Gable Green (I meant to use Certainly Celery but came across this one first). Papers were Cutie Pie again!

It feels a little bare at the moment so it may get more embellishment in time when I have looked at it for a while!

Sample 3

This is a cute little card using the central image of flowers from the Year on Year stamp set from Stampin' Up!

Cardstock Rose Red, Always Artichoke, So Saffron, Whisper White and the Cutie Pie Patterned Papers. White grossgrain ribbon.

The image was stamped in Basic Black and chalked and blended with the blender pens and the area around the image was also chalked to soften the edges.Sample 4
This card has a cardstock base in So Saffron with whisper white and Hunter Green for matting/layers. Main image is from year on Year, the greeting from Cheers and Wishes and the background spot image from Seeing Spots so three sets used!!

The main image and greeting were stamped in Basic Black and then the main image coloured with chalks and blended and the edge of the layer softened with chalk again. The background image on the white was stamped in Always Artichoke.

White grossgrain ribbon ties it together.

I hope you are enjoying these images and samples. I have another set to share which isn't quite finished yet so will be a couple of days as tomorrow I am busy with real life :-)
